Why Stainless?
Stainless steel has many attributes that are attractive to specific projects. Stainless is a softer metal that is malleable and with a high grade of stainless steel; rustproof. Stainless steel can be used for decks, docks, fences, marine application and any applications that is in a high humidity or salt spray area.
What makes POZISQUARE Stainless steel screws different?
Some woods or applications require more torque in order to drive a wood screw. Stainless steel is a softer material and a traditional drive system would strip easily. No one likes when a screw strips halfway into the lumber! POZISQUARE, with ACR, allows for more torque because of the drive system. It also has two transition points under the head that puts more steel at this weak point to help prevent snapping.
Will Not Rust
POZISQUARE is made out of a high quality stainless steel alloy that prevents rusting. Watch out for lower grade stainless that can still rust. We guarantee the stainless steel screws will not rust for the lifetime of your project.
ACR
ACR stands for Anti Camout recess. There are ribs on the driver bit that engage in the patented recess to reduce stripping, provide increased torque, enhance off-angle drivability and offers a stick fit that makes screw driving easier. Pozisquare screws can be driven with a standard square driver bit included in the Stainless Steel screw box. However for the features of the patented ACR system, we recommend the Pozisquare driver bit that is also included.
